Just For Kids

More and more, kids are learning to understand where their food comes from and the importance of preserving our natural resources.  Crawfish farmers and fishermen believe that this education of future generations is crucial to preserving the industry and a treasured way of life.

Louisiana 4-H, as part of LSU Ag Center, has several programs and online initiatives just for kids.  One is AgMagic, an experience that creates an interactive, visually stimulating environment that links food and fiber products we use every day to the forests, field crops and livestock produced by Louisiana farmers, ranchersandforest landowners. The Louisiana 4-H Club features online games and activities, where kids can learn about agriculture, the environmentandgood citizenship.

The Louisiana Crawfish Promotion and Research Boardisproud to support Moby’s Place, the official website of Dee Scallan, Louisiana author of the CrawfishTales ™ book series starring Moby Pincher Crawfish.  The website is a great place for kids to color anddrawonline, read and download books, as well as learn more about the environment of Moby the crawfish.
